Commissioning
The quality workmanship of the propulsion system installation is verified and signed off during the commissioning. Our field service engineers are uniquely experienced in commissioning engines and will ensure that every aspect of their performance is fully tested and optimized before handover. This includes auxiliary equipment such as transmissions and drive systems in liaising with other suppliers when necessary to ensure that every part of the installation functions correctly. Commissioning can be performed by Marinediesel field service engineers on site anywhere in the world. The commissioning sign-off is also required for warranty to take effect.
The EIC can and is recommended in combination with other Marinediesel customer focused programs such as the FACT training programs, Repair & Maintenance Contracts and Factory Replacement Programs. All of which are targeted to reduce vessel down time, reduce long term costs and give the operator piece of mind. For further information on these programs contact your local Marinediesel representative or Marinediesel headquarter in Sweden.
